AVACOR, the hair re-growth formulation combats androgenic alopecia for male
pattern hair loss. Because male pattern hair loss account for the majority of
all hair loss in the United States (affecting the lives of 40 million men),
researchers have discovered that most balding men are pre-occupied with their
hair loss, and associate baldness with feelings of embarrassment,
self-consciousness and negative self image.
What is in
Avacor?
Avacor is promoted as a three part "hair care system" that is intended to
re-grow hair. It consists of a so-called 'DHT blocker,' a topical solution and a
scalp detoxifying shampoo. Avacor is manufactured by Global Vision Products.
Ingredients in Avacor
It is difficult to find the ingredients in Avacor from looking at the websites
that sell Avacor. But, it appears that the ingredients of Avacor seem to be
herbs like Ginkgo biloba, bilberry,
horsetail and others like chanomelis,
lobellae, notoptcryll, tarakaci adenophorae, maidenhair tree, vaccinium
myrtillus, equisetum and 2, 4-diamino-6-piperidino-pyrimidine-3-oxide (minoxidil).
The names used for the herbs seem to be obscure, made up or and misspelled. If
the concentration of minoxidil in Avacor supplies high enough, it could lead to
temporary hair growth, but I personally am not that impressed with the long term
benefit of minoxidil.
