Silkia camellia oil (also known as "camellia seed oil") is a carrier oil. It's derived from the seeds of camellias, a kind of evergreen shrub with shiny leaves and rose-like flowers. It is obtained by mechanical (cold) pressing of the camellia seeds, followed by a refining processes including degreasing, deodorizing and filtering to produce a 100% organic, pure natural oil free from preservatives, odor and solvent residues.

Acne
Q. I wanted to let you know that I think my acne is less noticeable after the use of camellia oil on my facial skin. I have less acne which has been a chronic problem since age 9. My female friend in her 40s has had similar results. Camellia oil smoothed out scars and filled in some of the "dimples", don't get oily shine anymore that was a chronic problem, makes my makeup look smoother, have been out in the sun when i forgot my sunscreen and didn't get burnt. I am going to get some more and will see if it works as well for hair as it says.
