Therefore the company needs to first prove that this a safe and effective penis enhancement product before making these claims. The burden of proof rests on the company making the claim. Their website does not offer any scientific proof that their product leads to penis enlargement.

   A. Since I don't think any of these penis enlargement product work, none of them would be a best penis enlargement pill. There are natural herbal pills that do improve sexuality, there is no doubt about that, but if you expect a big penis, bigger than what you now have, you may be disappointed.

Penis Enlargement Pump
Penis enlargement pump devices, the frequent subject of e-mail spam and other questionable advertising, do not work. Long-term use of such devices not only fails to increase penis size but may also raise the risk of complications, such as penis numbness and burst blood vessels. Vacuum devices have been shown to temporarily increase penis size by promoting blood flow into the organ. A study involved 37 sexually active men, between 18 and 35 years of age, with a stretched penis length (a substitute for erect length) of less than 4 inches. The men were instructed to use the Osbon ErecAid Vacuum Therapy System three times a week for 6 months. With the device, the penis is placed into a clear cylinder with silicon cream or lubricating gel applied to the base to maintain an airtight seal. Air is then removed from the cylinder with a hand pump. The men were told to use the device for about 20 minutes after an erection was achieved. They were instructed not to exceed 30 minutes to reduce the risk of tissue damage. When the study began the average penile length was 2.9 inches. With use of the pump, the average length increased only slightly to 3.1 inches. Nonetheless, 30 percent of the men were satisfied with their results when surveyed. One case of penile hematoma, a collection of blood beneath the skin, and one case of numbness were noted, but both resolved spontaneously without the need for any treatment. Penis pumps may be more appropriate for erectile dysfunction than for penis enlargement. BJU International, April 2006.

Penis Enlargement Surgery
Most men who have had penis enlargement surgery are not satisfied with the results. For patients with psychological concern about the size of their penis, there is no point in doing penis enlargement surgery because it does not help them. There is a very high rate of dissatisfaction among men who have had penis enlargement surgery. The average increase in length with surgery is 1.3 cm (half an inch) which isn’t very much and the dissatisfaction rate is often in excess of 70 percent. Spam e-mails promoting penis enhancement surgery are misleading and gave men unrealistic expectations.

Men worried about having a small penis usually have a pretty average penis size, but have a false idea of what the normal penis size is, according to a report in the medical journal Urology. This best way to reassure men with penile concerns is to educate them, the author of the report says. The findings are based on a study of 92 patients who went to the andrology department at Cairo University Hospital in Egypt over a 2-year period complaining of a small-sized penis. The men were asked what they considered a normal size penis and then were informed about the actual normal penis size. All of the men met the thresholds for normal penis size and did not have erectile dysfunction. However, on average, the men estimated that the "normal" flaccid penis length should be to be 5 inches. The education and measurement sessions solved the concerns of 79 men. The other 13 subjects still insisted that their member was too short, but with further psychosexual counseling, most were convinced otherwise. It is those who are resistant to the idea that their penis is average size and wish for a large penis or huge penis who are most likely to seek penis enlargement pills or a penis enlarger device.

Ongoing study of this molecule and its signaling pathway in erectile tissue has served to revise and clarify its importance. Current information conveys the prerequisite of the nitric oxide signaling pathway for penile erection, the regulatory basis for the generation and actions of nitric oxide in the penis, the diverse roles of its synthetic enzyme isoforms in penile biology, and the interaction between nitric oxide and other molecular pathways operative in the broad context of erection physiology. Insight into these subject areas has therapeutic relevance for pathologic conditions of the penis. The purpose of this review is to highlight the latest areas of investigation related to the science of nitric oxide in the penis, as a gateway for considering novel therapeutic strategies for erectile disorders now and in the future.

Penile sensory information is essential for reproduction, but almost nothing is known about how sexually salient inputs from the penis are processed in the brain. We used positron emission tomography to measure regional cerebral blood flow (rCBF) during various stages of male sexual performance. Compared to a passive resting condition (without penile erection), sexual stimulation of the penis increased rCBF in an area of the right hemisphere encompassing the posterior insula and adjacent posterior part of the secondary somatosensory cortex (SII) and decreased rCBF in the right amygdala. No activation was observed in either the thalamus, genital part of primary somatosensory cortex (SI), or hypothalamus. Based on these results we put forward the concept that during sexual performance the salience of the stimulus, represented by activation of the insula and SII, is of greater significance than the exact location of the stimulus, encoded in SI. The absence of activation in the hypothalamus indicates that this region is more important for the onset of sexual arousal than for the resulting sexual performance. Deactivation of the amygdala during sexual stimulation of the penis corresponds with a decrease of vigilance during sexual performance.
