I also read several other studies regarding the hormone.  I read a speculation that it could be better to begin taking the hormone at an early age rather than letting the body level drop before beginning the supplementation (it may have been your book that speculated this but I am not sure).  I have never stopped taking the hormone and after about nine years I have never shown any side effects or had any adverse reactions.  However, I do not abuse the supplement and I also fast from the supplement 1 day each week. I have always taken 25 mg per day.  On occasion I have been unable to find the 25 mg so I would have to purchase a 50 mg tablet.  But I will only take this mg if a 25 mg is not available.

I don't have a single friend that thinks I am out of my twenties.  A few days ago I went hiking with a friend and when I took my shirt off during the hike he said to me "my god, you have the body of a 16 year old, what is your secret".  I just smirked and said I dont know, I just try to take good care of myself.

I also have the sex drive of a very young man.  I do try to eat right to the best of my ability and "water" is the main source of liquid that I consume, and lots of it.  I also "make time" for rest and relaxation.  I am not sure if the DHEA supplementation is the root to my youthfullness but I am inclined to believe it plays a major role in it. I would like to thank you for the books you have published in regards to supplemention.  I have them all.  If I can give a piece of advice to any of your readers, it would be to read as much information as possible on anything they are considering to supplement.  I personally have about 75 different books on everything from vitamin A to Zinc.   Again, I thank you for the research you do to provide people like me with the most up to date information available on the supplements you research.  I think you have given me a tool which enables me to live with a better quality of life.

Milk Thistle I have found to be an excellent remedy for pseudo or normal gout! Milk thistle dissolves all that deposit (if its pseudogout) with in an hour. Now i think its too good to be true. Milk thistle is not only good for liver health but i have seen improvement in my vision, joint health and brain - clarifies my thinking and helps me concentrate more without getting tired. So now one day i get a good dose of Multivitamin + vit C with milk thistle , the next day i take fish oil , E and Brahmi for adventures into inner dimensions. Hope all lot of people find this informative.

Dear Dr. Sahelian
I was so excited when I read your book “Mind Booster” and accessed your website. I am 40 years old, I am an immigrant from china and now I have been living in Canada for 4 years. I am suffering depression or anxiety disorder (I am not sure that my symptoms is more close to which one) after last year three months over stress working. I found that I suddenly changed into another person. I was so sensitive, I don’t want other people help me and like to stay alone, because I had strong presser to repeat “Thank you” when I got some help or even minor things or some suggestions they give. Sometimes if I forgot to say “Thank you”, I will think too much and had strong eager to say it and crazily to find a chance to say to that person again. Also I like to repeat “I am sorry” or “Please don’t mind” even I did nothing wrong or I said nothing wrong. I struggled this kind of feeling every day and feel so frustrated.
Two months ago, I took B-50 complex, one pill a day, plus vitamin C, extra B12 (500Mg), Calcium and Magnesium, I felt better. But in august same problem came again. I wondered I took B-50 complex  too long, I don’t know if I should stop taking B-50 complex right now?
Last Week I took 2 pills St. John’s wort in the morning and at noon, I felt my moods up and got more energy to do work, but next day I found I was allergic to St. John’s wort , my face had some hives and became swollen and itching. These several days I took 3 times 5-HTP about 25mg at night with one day interval, I found I feel sleep after taking one day later but moods did go up. Based on my situation, I want to try other nutrient or herbs.
