Q. I was wondering if Source Natural's Melatonin products are synthetic or natural. I can't find any information on the source of their melatonin products. In particular, I just need to know where the melatonin comes from (a lab or the pineal gland of an animal).

Q. Dr. Ray Sahelian's supplements are stated as being 'high quality' but I notice other supplements are mentioned on Ray Sahelian web site, not just the "Rx" brand. One such example is Source Naturals. There are others. Are all these other brands high quality. I have heard of Source Naturals and thought it was just one of those mediocre brands on the market, nothing outstanding.
   A. Ray Sahelian web site mentions products from many companies. Dr. Sahelian has formulated about 30 products for Physician Formulas. Source Naturals is a respectable company with excellent quality control.

Q. Can you tell me the minimum molecular weight of the hyaluronic Acid found in the Source Naturals "Injuv" softgels?
   A. You may wish to contact Source Naturals directly for the answer.

Q. What is your opinion regarding Source Naturals Coenzyme Q10 available in 400 mg Softgels. It is being promoted for antioxidant and cellular energizer for heart, brain, immunity and liver. Source Naturals claims it is one of the highest potency Coenzyme Q10 products available.
   A. Some people feel more fatigued when then take a very high amount of CoQ10 since it may interfere with sleep. We don't think it is necessary to take more than 50 to 100 mg a day.

   A. I have not had a chance to test caralluma supplements with patients to see if they are effective for weight loss.
